Monday Morning

Monday morning
and I don't seem to be awake
I try, I bathe
however Mondays are not my days

Monday morning
and I'm sitting with nothing but my faith
hoping for the weekend to come again
and yet I'm running late
to get my coffee in place
to get that aid to be able to start the day

Monday morning
and my faith starts to vanish
with this pile of emails
that keep me from day dreaming
and all those tickets anticipating a disaster

and I don't know if I still have money
to make it through the week...

and I don't feel like thinking
I just need to sleep...
